The honest truth is that all men lie

With self-serving reasons for well-deserved whys

With twisted tales and their endless wiles

They stand against their judges

Doling out havoc from chaos they create

And tirelessly play their painful game

The painful agony lies in men’s deceit

Gazing with adoration and care

As they place steady hand on those black hearts

And swear

Looking deep in our trusting eyes

And tell us bold lies

Like forbidden fruits they just can’t deny.
